Stages at a glance

Distances and climbing are approximate and differ a little between sources. Difficulty is rated from distance and climbing alone until the stages are researched in detail. Select a stage to see it on the map with a short summary. Details opens its page, with a map of the day, the places to stay and the refuges off the main line. The first stage's page, Before you set off, has how to book the refuges and their prices. Everything on this trail confirmed since October 2026.

Stage 8 of 10

The only place to sleep on this stage, with no village and no hotel nearby. Two tiny environment-agency shelters at Cúber and Gorg Blau, one to two hours away, are booked separately. Luggage transfer usually can't reach it. Operators such as Howlanders have you carry a lighter bag for this night and the next.
