Camino del Norte · Stage 4 of 36
Gronze calls this the loneliest stage of the Norte. After Olatz, 4.8 miles in, there's nothing until Markina, so carry food and fill up at every fountain. The Arno pass is the Norte's highest point in the Basque Country. From late October to mid-March both albergues are closed and Markina has no beds at all.
