Stopping at Zenarruza splits the two days nicely, and Gronze praises its welcome, though the climb up to it is hard. In Gernika, the Casa de Juntas and its oak tree are free to visit, but book on the Bizkaia assembly's website. Try the alubias pintas and Gernika peppers.
