A short day. The route skips Cudillero, one of Asturias's prettiest fishing villages, 1.1 miles down from El Pito. Mumayor has no services. Strong walkers can go on to Cadavedo, 21 miles from Muros, which Gronze calls very hard.

In the old schools on the N-632, run by a local foundation. 40 beds in three dorms, €10. Basic, with limited hot water. Pilgrims only, open all year.
