An easy day on minor roads. Comillas is expensive in high season and its one albergue has 28 beds; Cóbreces and Caborredondo are cheaper places to stop, and strong walkers go on 6.9 miles to San Vicente de la Barquera. Comillas has Gaudí's El Capricho and other modernista buildings.
