An easy day near the N-634 and A-8. At San Xoán de Alba, ignore the signed detour across the four-lane road, which Gronze calls absurd and dangerous. Because the next day is 24.7 miles, Gronze suggests pushing on past Baamonde: to A Lagoa (19.5 miles from Vilalba) or Miraz (20.8 miles).
