A long day with about 3,900 ft of descent off the Aubrac, and Gronze warns of stony paths that are often waterlogged. Most walkers split it at Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac.

Five gîtes and three chambres d'hôtes, but no hotel. The Couvent de Malet alone sleeps about 55.
